인류 최초의 종족 중의 하나인 피그미족!
아프리카가 변하고 있다.
원시의 땅, 지구상에 남아 있는 마지막 블루오션 아프리카.
아프리카의 산업화에 따라 개발의 이름으로 소멸되어가는 아프리카 숲 속에서 살던 피그미족들은 날이 갈수록 살아갈 터전을 잃어 버리고 더 이상 깊은 숲 속으로 갈 길이 없다는 것을 안다.
그들의 아이들이 학교에 가서 배워야 살아남게 되었다는 것을 알게 되었다.
아프리카 주민들조차도 무시하고 함께 살기를 거부당하는 가장 작은 자, 피그미 사람.
나무 그늘 아래에서 다 채워지지 않은 알파벳을 가르치고, 분필 한 도막으로 일 주일을 버텨 내는 것은,
새로운 세계에 대한 호기심과 목말라 하는 허기진 아이들에게 미래를 향한 꿈과 희망을 주고 싶어서이다.
피그미들은 비탈진 작은 공간에 그들의 작은 소망을 심고 아이들에게 배움의 터전을 마련해 주고 싶지만,
그들에게는 비가오면 도로 허물어져 버릴 벽돌 말고는 학교를 지을 재료를 만들 수 있는 재주가 없다.
천정을 올리기 위하여 함석지붕을 사고 싶어도 돈이 없다.
아이들의 학비를 마련하기 위하여 돈을 만들 수 있는 방법은 그릇을 만들어 파는 방법 밖에는 없는데,
개발의 물결과 함께 몰려온 중국산 그릇과는 경쟁이 되지 않아 이제는 팔리지 않는다고 한다.
당신의 작은 사랑의 손길이 한 종족을 살게 할 수 있다.
The one of the origin of human being, Pygmy!
They were driven out from the resident of Africa into the deep forest. Because of the developing by the people, they do not have a place to live with together. Pygmy lived with a fruits and an animal like fairy of the forest. But the forest is going disappear, they could not survival and the number of the Pygmy in the world is reducing day by day.
They could not live with the other people in Africa. They live near the village, lake shore, and the hill on the mountain. It is difficult to earn a living as pottery producer. Because of the invasion of the plastic bowl made in China.
It is estimated that there are between 250,000~600,000 pygmies living in the D.R. Congo and the border of near countries. But they are disappearing in the world.
God love and value them, Pygmy!!!
They are small and poor only. They love peace and the nature, they like to dance and music, they shout the sound of the forest, the Pygmy live like the fruit or the grass in the forest originally live with the initial creatures of God.
The world is changing and Africa is changing in every day. The forest is developing and the living place of the Pygmy is disappearing.
Now, they recognized that they could survive through the education at school. But they do not have any school and no money to teach their children. Even the resident of the Africa people do not want to live with the Pygmy people.
They need to be supported to survive. God love them.
